Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer has always wanted to achieve the status of a multi-tasking superstar. Growing up, she enjoyed a variety of musical styles, including Afro-Caribbean dances such as salsa, merengue and bachata, and mainstream music such as hip-hop, pop and R&B. While she was a fan of music, the film industry also fascinated her. West Side Story (1961), Rita Moreno's musical that inspired her the most and was her most significant influence. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Aside from being a budding entertainer, Jennifer was also a Catholic schoolgirl, attending eight years of an Catholic elementary school named Holy Family, located within The Bronx, before graduating at an all-girls pre-school, Preston High School after a four-year stay. Jennifer did well in sports during her time at school, and was a champion in the track and field, tennis and volleyball. When she was in Castle Hill, she spent her childhood in a 2-story residence. Jennifer moved out of her home with her parents when she was 18 , to leave. In the meantime, Lopez worked at a law firm , while taking dancing gigs at night.
